Fantastic Trip! We would like to thank Megan and Jenna for the outstanding outing with Dolphin Excursions. They were great hosts and we enjoyed our time. This is one trip that was well worth the money. We had an opportunity to swim with the spinner dolphins, saw the sea turtles up close and even saw the humpback whales. Truly an outstanding day. My name is Van Alan “Kalani” Ascencio and I work at Roberts Hawaii as a Reservations agent. I recently did a FAM tour on Friday July 18. I absolutely enjoyed every single minute from beginning to end and will never forget my experience. It was awesome and I can’t stop telling everyone about it. The zodiac ride was fun, exciting and exhilarating. The coastline was breathtaking, the ocean was incredibly blue and clear, and we got to snorkel in the clear waters of Makaha Beach. I was also impressed with the custom video and photo services available.

Our guide Megan, Captain Jenna, and Chuck the Photographer was very professional and fun. They kept us entertained and were always aware of our safety. They were a professional crew and provided us with healthy snacks and much needed H2O.

What a day! I will recommend you to anyone I know coming to Hawaii. Worth every penny! You are very friendly, relaxed and knowledgable. It is very obvious you love what you do. The experience of being in the water with the dolphins (the TOW) is something I will never forget!

Great fun! The raft is a great way to watch the whales, dolphins and turtles; you're right on the water's surface with them. The larger boats are high off the water and you don't really feel part of the sea life. Vic's a good captain and Stephanie provides a lot of info.

Ever since I was a little girl I have dreamed of "swimming" with dolphins. Thanks to you, I have fullfilled that dream! Being towed and seeing those dolphins was the most fantastic event (outside of my son's birth) that I have ever witnessed!

We are the Greene/Hardtman family and you took us on our dolphin excursion on Friday, July 21. (Our daughter Dayna is the one who accidentally waved at you instead of pointing to her head to let you know she was ok, and you had to dash into the water needlessly!)

We just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our day - and that we think your excursion is by far the best and most reasonable of any excursion on the island! We went to the concierge of the Hilton and told her of our experience with you - I have no idea if they will add it to their list or not, but we sure think they should.

After our day with you, we were amazed at the costliness of several other excursions that we took that just could not compare in quality to yours (eg, the Swim with the Dolphin package that Sea Park offers, which our daughters found, uh, well, uninspiring for lack of a better word.)

The crew was perhaps one of the best crews we have ever seen. I only remember Megan but all of them were SUPERP! Thank you and a big Mahalo from the main land!

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and our first time in Hawaii. We did the dolphin excursion and we both had a wonderful time. Althought we didnt get to really swam with the dolphins because everytime we jump in... they were all scare and went away. But we still had a great time and our tour guide Pam did a wonderful job as well. Thank you and we cannot wait and come back to do this again.

You can get wet with the dolphins, but the best part is really Victor, the guy who leads the excursions. His personality is so great. He tells you all about the dolphins and really enjoys it!

Our trip off the coast last week was piloted by Ale. We enjoyed his company so much, we decided to include him in our engagement announcement. (Ale - I'm the one you reminded about dolphins promiscuous behavior when you heard I thought "naia" was a pretty name for a girl!) Thanks for playing a part in a wonderfully memorable trip!

My family took advantage of the prime time dolphin and whale tour and it was the highlight of the trip. Nothing the entire week could compare with the fun we had on the boat. The boat ride alone was worth the time. It was awesome. Captain KK kept it interesting the whole time and we had a blast trying to stay in our seats as we bounced along the waves. We got some great photos and videos of the dolphins and whales. We didn't get the chance to swim due to the weather, but had fun outrunning the squall that hit. The guide on our tour was extremely friendly and very knowledgable. She had us laughing the entire trip. Overall, it was an awesome tour and I will highly recommend it to anyone who asks. Keep up the great work and I look forward to another visit.

Last Sunday, we were on the 10:30am excursion -- what a great trip! I could go on and on about it, we had such a great time.

What I didn't expect was the attention that was shown to us by Captain Ale and Jean Marie after the trip was over. We had driven ourselves to the dock from Kailua, and after eating lunch we were headed back to our car when Captain Ale stopped us to let us know about the telephone poles that were down on the Farrington Highway in Nanakuli, and that we would not be able to get back to Kailua. Initially they thought we might be stuck there for quite some time, and tried to make hotel arrangements for us. While Captain Ale prepared the boat to take the other passengers over to Ko Olina, Jean Marie stayed with us until we heard that the Kolekole Pass had been opened, and she knew we would be able to make it home.

I'm sure you know what a wonderful crew you have, but we just wanted you to know that we certainly appreciate them too!

Two of my friends and I came to Hawaii for the first time in March. We hiked, did the tours, went surfing, participated in some cultural events and on the last day decided to come to Dolphin Excursions. After five days of being a tourist and seeing all there was to see, Jeanne-Marie and KK gave us the PERFECT ending to our visit. We unintentionally saved the best for last. I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard, learned so much and had so much fun in four hours time as I did on your tour! Thank you Jeanne-Marie and KK, y’all are top notch!

I must give "kudos" and a tremendous, heartfelt "thank you" to Captain Ale, Jenna and Keeley. I was on your phenomenal Island for the first time and it has always been a dream of mine to be able to "swim" with the dolphins. In the wonderful hands of your crew, it was MORE than I could have ever dreamed of. First thing out, Jenna spotted a Humpback whale (my absolute FAVORITE)and Ale stopped the boat in hopes of having another look. He explained that they had not seen a whale in over two weeks as the whale season was over. Next thing we knew, the whale did a COMPLETE jump out of the water off the side of the boat. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. We then spend an incredible time swimming with the dolphins and they got so close to me I could have touched them. Being eye to eye with a pod of dolphins is a
feeling that I just can't explain to my family but I can relive it every day thanks to your excursion. Keeley was amazing with information during the drives to and from the hotel. She even recommended a place to eat on the North Shore for us that served the best shimp I have ever eaten in my 49 years. She even gave me her cell phone number in case we got lost getting to Haleiwa from Honolulu. I guarantee you that the 4 hours I spend on the
water with your crew was the best time I have ever had in my life and I promise, word will be spread to let EVERYONE I talk to that they HAVE to take your excusion when they are on Oahu. I am one of your former passengers from 1999 (you know, when we got to ride the rubber dingys?) That was so much fun. :-) I have a friend that is getting married and couldn't remember the name of your company, but remembered your name. So of course, I was able to find Dolphin Excursions and the owner, Victor.

When I talk about my trip and how fortunate that we were to have seen more than one pod of dolphins, it always feels like I was just there. It was so refreshing to read the testimonials by your other passangers. What they express in their testimonials about you and your crew regarding your knowledge and hospitaliy, and love of the ocean is what I have experienced as well. Nice to know that some things never change. I hope to make it back sometime soon.

Anyway I visited the website and I am so glad that the company is doing well. Everytime someone tells me that they want to come or go to Hawaii, I am always sure to mention your tour. I just wanted to tell you how incredibly AWESOME our day with the dolphins was. First of all, your staff was so friendly, informative and helpful. My husband and I brought our four children (ages 7, 10, 13, & 15) and what could have been a stressful event for a worrisome mom like me, was actually relaxing and extremely exhilerating. We swam with DOLPHINS!!!!! My kids had the time of their lives. They will never, ever forget that wonderful day, and neither will I. What a great activity in Oahu it was!! That was the most wonderful and exciting experience, even though that was the fourth trip to Hawaii for me and my husband.
We've seen dolphins just in aquarium, so we were so impressed with such a lively dolphins. We also enjoyed the colorful fish at the snorkeling point.

I haven't done swimming with snorkel and fins for 10 years, and it was the first swimming with snorkel and fins for my husband. So we couldn't control ourselves well, but all of you watched us carefully and took care of us. All of you were so sweet.

Dear Extraordinary Crew,

It is with tremendous pleasure that we write this note. On February 16, during your early bird cruise, we had the sincere pleasure to be guests on your tour. We visit often, and thought the experience would be just another, packaged, porpoise-tormented, frenzy, for our edification (It was a gift). Despite the grotesque waking hour, while on holiday (4am), the experience could not have been more different! It began with the tremendous insight, knowledge and experience of our driver/first mate, Kai'li How she maintained such an upbeat, friendly disposition at such a wicked hour, was uncanny. But that was just the beginning of her amazing skill set. She provided a wealth of information about the Islands' history, the local challenges, the environmental concerns, and a thorough overall compassion for her work (all with charm, and humor). Kai'li is a tremendous asset to the tour. We were enthralled with her passion for sailing. We found ourselves captivated by her dad's commitment to sail to Micronesia and Japan. (WARNING: Nerd disclosure) We could not wait to return to the hotel to get on the Polynesian Voyage Society's website, to track the Hokule'a voyage. I was thrilled as I researched the history of the master navigator and teacher, Mau Piailug. (later reading all of his articles). Misael and I are currently reading a book on traditional Hawaiian canoe building. (Misael is a sea kayaker) Kaili's infectious passion was rivaled only by her crew mates': Ale, was an adept, talented, mariner with enviable navigation skills. He maneuvered the small vessel with masterful precision, all while dispensing a cheeky, barrage of nautical jokes! It was clear that he was as comfortable on the sea as on land. He controlled the "Naia I" like a confident parent. In addition to being a talented mariner, he too, had a dizzying knowledge of the ocean, its' species, and local customs and traditions. It was great to have someone so wedded to nature, at the helm. We admired Captain Ale. The trio would not have been complete without the spectacular contribution of Chuck, the photographer. We purchased everything that was being offered for sale that day. Unfortunately, Chuck's computer was not functioning properly; so we were unable to view our photos, at that time. Truthfully, we expected to receive, by mail, a disk of lack lustre, stock, photos, that we would surely forget about in the coming weeks. What we got was nothing shy of spiritual. The photos so accurately captured the essence of our experience: From the majestic glide of a pod of porpoise (in sepia), to the sovereign, tranquility of a single sea tortoise. It was a pictorial nirvana! We were awe stricken. The Dolphin Excursion was etched into our psyches. So, while the photos may fade over time, the experience will remain with us, indelibly. And for that we are eternally grateful. Finally, this will certainly be a MUST each time we visit in the future. See ya soon. : ) We have shared your link with everyone! : )

I will be telling people about the excursion until I can no longer speak as it was the most thrilling thing I have ever done. (I would say that I was swimming with dolphins for all but 20 seconds or so of the 45 or so minutes I was in the water.) I guess I might drive a few people crazy in the process over the coming years... :)

Please let me know if there is any other way I can get the word out about your fantastic excursion. It was a dream come true for me and I would love to know that other people with similar life-dreams can experience swimming with dolphins in the wild.

That was one of the most exciting things I've ever done in my life!! (My only regret was that I didn't have an underwater camera with me and I kick myself for that now!!!) I wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone that was involved in our Dolphin Excursion on October 2, 2009. Our experience was incredible and made our Hawaiian vacation even that more memorable.

Everyone we encountered at Dolphin Excursions were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. I had a few phone conversations with Lisa prior to our tour and when we arrived at the dock, we were treated like old friends by everyone we met.

I never thought that I would have an opportunity to see dolphins up close like this as I do not support the companies that capture dolphins so that people can pet and swim with them. It was incredible to watch these beautiful animals swimming in their natural habitat only a few feet from where I was in the water.

Another bonus was having the photographer on board. I was able to enjoy the entire experience without worrying about getting the "perfect" shot (which I never do). Not only did he get pictures of everyone on board, he also got shots of things that I missed seeing (a couple of sea turtles and a black tipped reef shark).

I have forwarded your information to my travel agent and recommended that she put this on her "10 Best Things to do in Oahu" list.

Hello, Dolphin Excursions!

My husband, Cody, and I were privileged to enjoy your excursion on 7/8/08, which happened to be our 4th anniversary. We were completely stunned by the experience from the day. I will NEVER forget the goosebumps from the sheer excitement of seeing literally hundreds of dolphins jumping and spinning around the boat! It was completely surreal!! I have recounted our adventure numerous times, and thanks to Chuck (the photographer aboard), we are able to relive our wonderful day through his exquisite photos. What an incredible bonus to the trip! He actually brought an octopus up from the reef at which we were snorkeling, and my husband and I have delightful photos of our time when we played with the octopus! We will never forget the wonderful experience we had and truly hope to be able to come back for a winter whale adventure with Dolphin Excursions! We thank you wholeheartedly for a delightful and memorable day!

We had such a great time on your eco-tour that we would love to do it again. Jenna, Tamar were such great host and professional. We had a grand time it was extremely euphoric high swimming with the spinners and seeing the whale. I have told all my friends via Face book about this... YOU GUYS ROCK... The Best Tour Ever!
We were telling some friends today about our wonderful trip with you guys last week and just couldn't do it justice with the few photos I took. I started wishing the pictures we ordered would get here so here I am on line, searching for a 'virtual hit' of spinner dolphins and the Wai'anae coast. Wow what a day that was! Thank you to Captain Jenna and Tamar for the best eco tour we've ever been on. It was a laid back aloha day with a professional crew who were so great it felt like we were out on a friend's boat (only with really good snorkel gear and healthy snacks). You know these girls love their jobs and they love the animals. And we were all surprised to find out that Chuck had been taking photos of us the whole time- he is so discrete about it! Can't wait to see those photos! We ended up seeing a lot more sea life than we'd hoped for- the humpbacks are early this year and it was fun to listen to Jenna talk to other captains as we searched for them. ! Seeing one was such an unexpected treat! I even saw an eagle ray gliding across the seafloor!

I just wanted to say that I so enjoyed my experience with you guys!!! The dolphins were magnificent and it was obvious how much the staff enjoyed their jobs!! It was incredible being able to be in the water while the dolphins were swimming and I could see them below me and at one point beside me! They were not close enough to touch but I could see their eyes and they were awesome!! It was amazing to see the large Humpback whales in the water, watching them dive and watching the water being blown out of their blow holes. I loved seeing the fish and giant turtles while we were snorkeling and the octopus Krissy showed us was amazing!! I went on a few other tours while in Hawaii and I recommended you guys to everyone! A man from blue Hawaiian Helicopter tours has said he is also going to recommend you guys after I told him of my incredible experience!! If I come back to the island I will certainly be going on another excursion with you guys!!

We rave about our trip with Dolphin Excursions to everyone who will listen! Your crew (Jenna and Krissy) were fun, knowledgeable, and really seemed to enjoy themselves along with the rest of us. Your crew knew just where to find all of the species on the menu: sea turtles close enough to touch (but rest assured we didn't), dozens of spinner dolphins, and humpback whales. And just as impressive was their clear ethic of respecting the animals and making sure we all did, too.

Other parents considering Dolphin Excursions might like to know that our boys, ages 7 and 10, were comfortable jumping off the Zodiac fully equipped with snorkel gear. The water was clear and warm, even in February, and snorkeling in 30 to 40 feet of clear azure water is unforgettable!

I just recently went on one of your excursions on 19FEB10 with Jenna and Megan and I have to say this blew my expectations out of the water! I cannot stop talking about what an amazing experience this was! I am stationed here with the military and I have friends and family visit often and I can guarentee that this will be at the top of the list to take every guest to when they come to visit!!! Jenna and Megan were awesome, interactive and fun!

Hello, just got my CD of the tour we went on and I wanted to say thank you!! The shots you got of the dolphins and sea turtles are amazing!! They will make for a wonderful memory for my b/f and I. There are also some great shots of octopus, birds, and fish that I must have missed out on.
The first time I went to Hawaii I did the swim with dolphins at Sea Life Park and it for sure pales in comparison to Dolphin Excursions. i will definitely do this tour again next time we go. I don't swim so to be able to participate in something like this is an opportunity of a lifetime.

Please pass on to the "Big Cheese" how impressed I have been with the whole experience from the amazing way you have handled my booking and again my repeat visit and how amazing Danielle was from the moment she picked me up in the morning to the drop off at the end of the day. Jenna what can I say about Jenna she is like a walking encyclopedia of knowledge on all things dolphin and whales and knows just the right time to give us that important information. From someone that knows a lot about photography, Chuck's photos are truly amazing it was nice to know at the end of the day if I didn’t get the photos I wanted with my camera Chuck would have some great ones capturing the entire day (Which he did). Seeing the dolphins and whales was a fantastic experience but with the amazing attitudes and enthusiasm from Jenna, Danielle & Chuck made it all that much better. Made our trip!
I just wanted to take a moment to thank our ship crew, Steve and Tamar, on the best excursion of our lives! When we went out the morning of Sunday, March 21st, we first were greeted by a traveling pack of 5 (YES 5!!!) humpback whales!!! Next, we met up with a pod of between two and three dozen spinner dolphins. We were snokeling literally within arm's grasp of them! The highlight of our trip (to Oahu) came when a mother, infant, and dad dolphin split off from the large pack and playfully swam beside us-2 to 3 feet from us! Steve and Tamar then reset the boat TWO MORE ADDITIONAL TIMES to ensure the remainder of the group would get a vantage point and personal experience with the dolphins. Also, we stopped to get up close and personal with some majestic sea turtles! Our crew took our expectations and hesitations and threw them to the high seas, as both were overcome in a manner that will keep us talking about you all for years!!!!!
I also want to add that it was hard not to skeptical of this company initially- one would read 10 great ads about the world's GREATEST experience.....and then read one sour-milked ad- we were nervous to begin. However, in hindsight, I am pretty sure this is just pretty simply explained- GOOD SEA CONDITIONS CALL FOR GREAT MEMORIES! Also, a reminder for those to come- your attitude effects and affects the ENTIRE day- from what you can experience to how you will experience. Mindfulness here is greeted by mindfulness.

You all will forever be remembered by us as giving us the final 'wow' of our trip, the one we have been finding ourselves bringing up time and time again in conversation after conversation in the weeks following our trip. Most importantly, you all brought a re invigoration to the 'aloha spirit', both from an ecological point of view, which you all met leaps and bounds better than other excursion companies, and also from the humanitarian point, which seems to be in extinction on the west side of the island! Keep up the good work, and we will see you all next year! Oh, one last note to possible inquirers, THE DOLPHINS KNOW THE BOAT!!!

My trip with Dolphin Excursions was beyond ANY expectation I had. They promised dolphin and we got dolphin, lots of dolphin but also mating sea turtles, breaching whales and even an albatross. A trip of a lifetime!

I love these Dolphins and the tours so much that I went from visiting and coming each day for a whole week to moving to O'ahu and coming twice a month! My boyfriend Eric and I were recently in Hawaii and visited dolphin excursions, and my camera went missing. I was so upset, but the whole crew worked very hard, and ended up finding my camera. I just wanted to give a big thanks to Lisa!! She not only kept in touch with us, but even stayed on the phone to guide us through the hectic Honolulu/Wikiki so that we could make it to the hotel that was holding my camera. This was a vacation I will never forget, and thanks to all of you I got to swim with spinner dolphins, and I have pictures so that I can remember everything!! We both thank you so much, and would recommend this tour to anyone.

If you are ever on the beautiful island of Oahu you must take this tour with these awesome people! What a great experience!

This was an AMAZING day out, we were very lucky and within minutes of leaving the harbor we found the dolphins and were in the water snorkeling. Both the girls on the boat were great and can't wait for Chucks photos to arrive.

Thank you SO much! We had an amazing time. We saw and swam with over a hundred spinner dolphins. We saw and swam with sea turtles. We saw many humpback whales, heard them on the microphone and even saw a few breach. It was definitely the highlight of our vacation. The Captain and deck hand were also extremely nice, knowledgeable and respectful to the animals. I somehow managed to catch an amazing photo of one of the breaches. Thanks again!

Awesome Adventure
On 3/22/2011 my granddaughter and I went on your excursion. What a fantastic time from swimming with the dolphins to being able to see a huge sea turtle and a hump back whale to top it off. The crew did a great job in making sure it was a special trip. Kirstin and I want to thank you and we are telling everyone we know headed to the islands that your excursion needs to be on the top of their list.

We just got back from an excursion with Kat and KK, as well as Jim the photographer. We wanted to tell you what a fabulous time our family had. It was simply amazing. We saw and swam with a huge pod of spinner dolphins and then swam with sea turtles and beautiful fish. We will definitely pass on the word of your establishment. We also cannot say enough good things about your staff. They were fun!

We went out with Dolphin Excursions today,we saw dolphins,turtles and other fish but the best thing was seeing whales,a mother and her calf and they even went under the boat. Just wanted to let you guys know that our group had a great time on our excursion. Captain Jenna and Marina were great tour guides and our whole group had an awesome time on the boat and in the water. It was awesome to snorkel with the dolphins and the fish. We also enjoyed seeing the whales. It felt like we were on the boat with family. When we come back to Hawaii, we will definitely do the dolphin excursion again.

My family just got back from the best vacation we have ever had. My favorite excursion was with your wonderful group. It was my dream to swim with dolphins my whole life and there was a time when I was out far and all alone. Several wild dolphins came up all around me, swimming just 2 to 3 feet from me. I wanted to thank you so much for setting up the dolphin outing for my family and I. We had such a wonderful time. In fact, my mom, who has advanced Parkinsons disease, was able to swim with the dolphins! It was the only activity she was able to participate in during their trip out to Hawaii and I know it was really special for her to share that with me. It was also really my first time snorkeling and I think its going to be something that I do more and more. For me, the turtle cleaning station dive was the coolest part! And your captain Jen was awesome, very knowledgeable and helpful.

I was in Hawaii shooting a movie for the Lifetime network and had the great
privilege to experience Victor's Dolphin Excursion with several other
members of the cast. What an amazing day! Victor was the perfect guide and
his enthusiasm, energy, and knowledge added tremendously to an already

We had a great outing with Dolphin Excursions two weeks ago, we couldn't have asked for a better time. Your crew on the boat are very professional and have great knowledge about wildlife. In addition, the driver, Domingo, who drove us back and forth was very friendly and sure kept us entertained. He livened up the ride by sharing local facts about the Island, recommending various points of interest and offering up some funny antidotes. We really appreciated his enthusiasm and aloha spirit. We look forward to getting out on the water with you guys again when we're back in Oahu.

I tried to sample as much of Hawaii as I could while there on my brief trip, including Pearl Harbor, snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, a Luau, and a glider ride, and this was by far the best of them all. I would like to thank Megan and Jenna for hosting such a wonderful excursion that gave me the opportunity of a lifetime to swim with dolphins and turtles in their natural environment. Hi, four of us went on a dolphin adventure on Saturday, August 20th 9 am. We want to rave about it. Heath and his sister, Holly, were just dolls. [Captain Jenna] was the best. She made sure we swam with the dolphins and gave us all the do’s and don’ts of how to spot them. I just loved her. She drove around to several spots and really knew her “stuff”.

We didn’t even go to Hanauma Bay because of the fish, dolphins and turtles we encountered. We have been to the bay before and just couldn’t imagine topping your tour.

Jim, the photographer was also a great addition to the tour. He was right there in the water helping us and telling us how to best get the dolphins to swim around us. The whole thing was incredible.

My Under the Sea Adventure.

Hi! My name is Kylie. I am eight years old and over my summer vacation, I went to Hawaii. I did lots of great things, but the best thing I did was swimming with the dolphins and turtles. It was great! I saw a lot of baby dolphins and adult dolphins. They looked so silver and shiny. After searching and swimming with the dolphins three times, we went to look for giant turtles. The turtles were near the beach. I saw two giant turtles and one of them went up for air. I saw lots of colorful fishes too. After I went swimming, I got to eat some snacks on the boat. I also got to drive the boat. When I drove the boat, it felt twisty. After every kid on the boat got to drive, it was time to get off. It was an amazing trip and I hope I can do it next year.

Fabulous adventure on June 20,2011

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the most incredible adventure we could have wanted. We had never been to HAWAII before and our first outdoor adventure was with you!! What an amazing staff, from beginning to end we were well taken care of and safely looked after. Having teenage boys and younger kids on the tour with us, it was great to know that safety was the staffs #1 concern. We knew we were in great hands and because of that we were really able to relax and enjoy ourselves. We swam with about 30 dolphins, came within an arms reach of sea turtles and schools of tropical fish making this a once in a lifetime trip. The staff was very knowledgeable, it was informative, and thrilling...I tell everyone I know that's going to Hawaii, that they MUST have a day with you...

Our expectations were exceeded on our adventure with Jenna, Rick and Jim on Nov 18. What a day! We loved Jenna's passion - she got as excited for us when the dolphins came by as we did! Like she hasn't done this a hundred times before! She made it seem new and exciting with every pod that came by. And Jim is not only a talented photographer but just a good soul.
