Victor Lozano
Owner and Captain Aloha! Welcome to Dolphin Excursions. For the past twenty years, I have had the pleasure of guiding guests from all over the world throughout the Hawaiian Islands. I invite you to a well kept secret: the west coast of Oahu, where you will be treated to a wildlife adventure like no other. For the past ten years, my passion has been with the dolphins and other marine life that frequent this remote and beautiful coastline where often times we are the only boat witnessing the aerial behaviors of the spinner dolphins and humpback whales. I truly love these waters and their inhabitants and look forward to sharing this treasure with you! I would like to introduce you to some of the people who have helped make this dream a reality, and who I regard as some of the most experienced and knowledgeable naturalists on the island.
Lisa: Office Manager, Crew and Marine Biologist
Alexa "Lex" (marine biologist), Rick (watermanist), Tamar (dances the hulu-ist), Kathleen "Kat" (marine biologist), Heath (biologist), Katie (environmental study... uh...ist) and Domingo (ukulele-ist) are just a few of the good guys n' gals that have been with Dolphin Excursions for sometime now. They can tell you everything you ever needed to know about the dolphins and whales. They can also come to your aid with a cold bottle of water to keep you hydrated or pull you from the water if needed. Like a true super crew, they assist with every part of our business - from driving the shuttle vans, to checking guests in and taking reservations. I know you'll love them. WE ARE HIRING: CDL driver... call Lisa if interested at 239-5579

Senior Captain / Marine Biologist Jenna
Captain Jenna: this clever Texan will make you laugh, she'll make you cry (not really) and in short make you want to take her home (really). Jenna has been working with us for years, beginning as crew and now has stepped it up as captain; she is one of the most experienced with the marine mammals that inhabit the coast. She has also crewed a vessel throughout the Atlantic and really knows her way around a boat... and a good joke. When she's not on Nai'a 1 in search of wild dolphins, you can find her on the Lacrosse Field or behind a boat on a wakeboard. Not there? Check out the local movie theater, she must be in her resting state.
Captain / Naturalist Kelly (KK)
Captain KK has lived on the Waianae coast for a good part of his life and is a lieutenant life guard for the City and County of Honolulu. On his days off he loves to tow-in-surf on 30 foot waves and kite surfs when the waves are down and the wind is up. He has kayaked across the Molokai channel (25+ miles on one of the roughest channels in the world) on more then one occasion. Something is not right with this one but on Wednesdays and Thursdays he keeps it real and brings it back down to earth by working for Dolphin Excursions, taking our guests to swim with dolphins and making sure it's safe and fun. On any given Sunday, you will find Captain Steve at the helm. He is also a Marine Biologist and will identify all those aquatic critters you are gonna see and experience. Steve has been on the Wai'anae Coastal waters on pretty much every type of vessel both above and below. He can tell you a lot... A LOT... about the history of the West Coast of Oahu. He is pretty darn pleasant too, which makes his pairing with Sunday quite harmonic. Sincerely, Victor Lozano |
